   Welcome – Gilberto (Gil) Cisneros, Chairman and CEO, Chamber of the Americas

Mr. Cisneros is committed to economic empowerment and justice and is the driving force of the Chamber of the Americas (COTA) in its mission to build and cultivate strong relationships among member and nonmember individuals and organizations. COTA seeks to facilitate trade and investments that strengthen local economies and foster a spirit of harmony, social and economic justice, and cohesiveness globally, with particular emphasis in the Western Hemisphere.

   Moderator – Dr. David Conde, President of North America, COTA

Dr. Conde is a senior consultant to COTA bringing over 32 years of experience in developing and conducting international programs in Europe, Mexico, Central and South America in the public and private sectors. In addition, he currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of East Migrant Head Start Project with 40 education centers for migrant children in 14 states along the east coast and the south.

   Moderator – Tony Bottagaro, COO, COTA

Tony is special advisor to COTA on national and international affairs. He is also a seasoned executive, acclaimed speaker, bestselling author, award-winning film producer and narrator, playwright and stage performer as "Mario the Peddler." For over 35 years, he has taken his message of "a world more human and more divine" across diverse ideologies, including the United Nations and an audience with Pope John Paul II at the Vatican.

   Guest SpeakerJames Mejía, CEO, Mejía Associates

James Mejía, a native of Denver, Colorado, recently returned from a year and a half in Montevideo, Uruguay, where he served as a business and English language consultant.

He began his career in international affairs in Colorado Governor Romer's office of International Trade where he served as Trade Specialist for Latin America. He was selected as a German Marshall Fellow to study the Transatlantic Partnership and is an alum of the International Career Advancement Program at the Aspen Institute.

Denver Mayors John Hickenlooper and Wellington Webb recruited him to lead and manage some of the city's most important, complex, and challenging agencies and capital projects.

He is currently the CEO of Mejía Associates, a business consulting firm that works with small businesses and the media. As a journalist, he writes the front page for La Voz Newspaper, and was the Democratic political expert for KUSA, Channel 9 television station.
