Guest Speaker: MORGAN SMITH, Freelance Writer and Photographer has had a long career in state government in Colorado as a member of the Colorado House of Representatives, Commissioner of Agriculture, Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Local Affairs, and Director of the Colorado International Trade Office. He now lives in New Mexico and, for the last eight years, has been traveling to the Mexican border at least once a month to document conditions there and work with a number of humanitarian organizations. His photos are his way of "bringing to life" the realities of the border and the humanity of the people who struggle to survive there.
